Grocery List:

Instructions for the simple thumbprint cookies:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F, spray or line a cookie sheet, set aside.
In the bowl of a hand or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugar together for 2-3 minutes until fluffy. Add in the egg yolks one at a time, and the vanilla, mix until smooth. Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt, mix until a dough forms.
Using a cookie scoop or measuring tablespoon, measure out the cookie dough, roll into balls, and place on the prepared baking sheet. Use your thumb to press an indentation into each ball of cookie dough. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon of preserves onto each cookie.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, the cookies will be soft and golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
