Nothing extra & no special cutting needed! I use the butter left on the wrapper if my recipe is using butter, if not cooking spray. Trim off a piece of parchment paper smaller than your pan and simply secure it in place with uncoated binder clips or any other metal clips. Nothing coated as they are not oven safe.

No need to trim and fold parchment to lay perfectly in the pan, doing it this way and leaving a lip on each side gives you something to lift the final product out with & you use less parchment paper by avoiding the second cut! I use the same process for a 8”x8” or 9”x9” pan.
