No-Churn Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream (with Reese’s Pieces)
5 from 1 vote
This no-churn ice cream is made from a base of sweetened condensed milk and whipped heavy cream. Peanut butter is swirled in along with crushed Reese's Pieces candy and chopped peanut butter cups. Yum!
In a large mixing bowl whip the heavy cream on medium-high speed using an electric hand mixer with the whisk attachment until stiff peaks form, 5-8 minutes. Fold in sweetened condensed milk.
14 oz. can Sweetened condensed milk, 2 cups Heavy whipping cream
Swirl in the peanut butter, it helps if the peanut butter is slightly warm or melted. A quick 15-30 seconds in the microwave can thin out the peanut butter so it can be swirled in easier.
1/3 cup Creamy peanut butter
Fold in chopped peanut butter cups and Reese's pieces, set some aside to sprinkle on top if desired. Pour the ice cream mixture into a metal pan or glass container and sprinkle on extra toppings if desired. Cover, and freeze 4-6 hours until hardened.
5 oz. Reese's pieces candy, 12 oz. Peanut butter cups
Scoop and enjoy. Leftover ice cream will keep covered in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Notes
*Reese's pieces can be crushed by hand or in the food processor. *Heavy whipping cream can be whipped in a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment as well. Make sure you don't substittue half and half or milk. I don't recommend substituting Cool Whip either. *Any flavor of peanut butter cups will work, I like traditional but you can get creative!*Jiff or Skippy creamy peanut butter works best, natural peanut butter will provide a different texture and not swirl in as easily.
