Instructions
Combine the sugar, pineapple chunks, and basil in an old-fashioned glass. Use a muddle or the end of a wooden spoon to muddle the ingredients together. Add the gin, stir to combine. Top off with club soda and ice, garnish with pineapple and basil if desired.
