Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a large casserole dish.
In a large mixing bowl combine eggs, milk, 2 teaspoons of salt, and fresh pepper. Whisk well to combine. Mix in shredded cheese.
Brown sausage in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat until cooked through, drain any excess fat if needed. Season with the remaining salt and fresh cracked pepper.
Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces, sprinkle the pieces of dough evenly in the bottom of the prepared casserole dish. Top evenly with cooked sausage and frozen tater tots. Pour the egg mixture over top and make sure everything is evenly covered.
Cover loosely with foil or a lid and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until the eggs are set. If desired, broil on high for a few minutes to get a golden brown crust.
