These meatballs are so easy to make at home, you could also use spicy Italian sausage in the mix. We like larger meatballs but you can make them to be any size, these are also freezer friendly so make an extra batch!

- In a large mixing bowl combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, ricotta cheese, Romano cheese, salt, pepper, garlic, garlic powder, parsley and basil. Gently mix with your hands until evenly combined. Use a portion scoop to scoop 1 oz. meatballs*. Roll into balls and place evenly on a sheet pan, you will get about 25 meatballs.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 18-22 minutes until meatballs are cooked through. Serve meatballs over spaghetti and marinara sauce. Leftover meatballs can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
Notes:
*Meatballs can be formed into any size, if you prefer larger meatballs, adjust baking time as needed.
*Cooking time may need to be adjusted by the size of the meatballs, they should reach an internal temperature of 155 degrees F. before serving.
